Neurotech calendar software

Neurotech, an in-home electroencephalogram (EEG) testing service provider, partnered with Red Arrow over three years ago to move forward on two small projects started by consultants. Their experience with us was fast and efficient, and we’ve been their software technology partner of choice since.

Challenge

Neurotech needed a technology partner to be an extension of their business. They hadn’t had much success with previous technology partners: communication dwindled as development projects lagged and projects lost continuity from the disruption created by consultant turnover.

They were also looking to improve business efficiency. One notable challenge was helping Neurotech upgrade a calendar application that was hampering their ability to schedule staffing resources efficiently. Their current solution relied on spreadsheets and free calendar applications, but these out-of-the-box tools never gave them the flexibility and functionality they needed.

What started out as a few outsourced software projects led Neurotech to build a technology partnership with us that enables them to continue to grow.

Solution

On our first two projects working together, we quickly delivered enhancements to Neurotech’s software where other providers had failed. Through our collaboration and fast iteration, we proved that we could be a partner to rely on to deliver incremental enhancements on a regular basis.

While our software projects with Neurotech may vary, our development and iterative design process remains the same. For example, when projects kick off, weekly calls keep the cross-functional, cross-company teams focused. And scheduled project updates promote immediate feedback and project visibility. Beyond product software enhancements, we’ve also helped Neurotech improve its staffing efficiencies. We created a custom calendar solution to replace an inefficient system containing spreadsheets and free calendar tools. With the ability to view multiple technician schedules across multiple locations, administrators can now schedule the right technicians based on their availability and geographic location. Our solution allows employees to easily see where they are working each day and administrators get a total view to allocate resources efficiently.
